Home construction is highly resistant to disruptive marketplace trends. Job security is protected. You cannot efficiently import the work that a tradesperson does at a construction site. Yet the C-1 system does consolidate many of the labor intensive parts of a structure into the modular components made at the factory.

Typically, houses, apartments and commercial buildings involve the erection by wood, steel or concrete cinder blocks of the structural frame onto which exterior veneer or cladding must be attached. Unlike cinder blocks which typically have a  1500 PSI, the C-1 wet-cast block has a strength of between 5000 to 10,000 PSI, depending on the Architectural and structural requirements.  The vertical integration of the business provides a building site division which will take specific component shipments to the job site and from foundation to cornice, a detailed coordination with plumbing, electrical, HVAC and interior framing contractors.
